Attendees will be asked to introduce themselves at the beginning of the training course. A minimum attendance of 90% of the training course will be required to be able to be considered as an eligible candidate to become a WEEELABEX auditor. Punctuality and participation in the training activities will be essential for a positive evaluation of the candidates and will be taken into consideration in the examination process of trainees. Attendees are required to bring their own notebooks/laptops with a MS Office software or compatible.
The use of mobile phones will not be allowed during the training activities. Comments and questions about the training programme, venue, schedule etc. shall be addressed to the WEEELABEX Office liaison, whose contact details will be provided to the attendees with the training details.
The WEEELABEX Office will provide attendees with the following documents:
A questionnaire for the evaluation of the training activities, trainers and other relevant issues, will be provided at the beginning of the training course. Attendees will be requested to fill in the aforementioned document at the end of the programme. The input from the attendees will be taken into consideration by the WEEELABEX organisation to apply improvement actions.
To help us report and handle complaints about the training efficiently, we ask you to contact the WEEELABEX Office liaison (office@weeelabex.org), who will provide a form to fill in and send to the WEEELABEX Office or return to the WEEELABEX Office liaison attending the training course. The WEEELABEX Office will reply within 20 days.
Participants will be evaluated according to the following methods:
In order to become an approved WEEELABEX Auditor, each candidate has to successfully pass an evaluation of their knowledge of the WEELABEX standards and organisation, and their behaviour “as an auditor”.
To become an approved WEEELABEX auditor, the candidate has to successfully pass the exam at the end of the WEEELABEX training course they attend.
On continuous assessment during the face to face training. Candidates will be required to fully participate in workshops and activities during the face to face training. Trainers will evaluate punctuality, participation and professionalism (which will be defined as ‘not sufficient’ or ‘sufficient’ in the evaluation process of every candidate). At the end of the face to face training, sit a final exam. Candidates will be required to sit an open-book exam at the end of the training course. They must obtain a minimum score of 70% to successfully pass this part of the evaluation process.
Should the candidate fail to obtain the minimum score, he will be allowed to one more attempt (subject to the payment of a fee). This exam will take place under the supervision of a competent trainer. Upon failure of both attempts, he will be required to submit a new application and re-start the training process.
Participants that have successfully passed the evaluation process will be informed by the WEEELABEX Office within 30 days of the training course. The information provided will at least include: details of listing, the auditor agreement for signing and state when the JPG of the WEEELABEX Mark will be sent (e.g. when signed agreement is received).
